Illawarra Computer Enthusiasts (ICE)
The Illawarra PC Users’ Group Incorporated, also known as Illawarra Computer Enthusiasts, or ICE, is a non-profit organisation of computer users in Wollongong on the South Coast of New South Wales. Our current membership extends from Thirroul in the North to Gerringong in the South.
We Meet on the fourth Saturday (February to November), 1:00 pm, of each month at the Unanderra Community Centre, Princes Highway, Unanderra
The meetings enable any member or guest to bring along their PC or tablet and get help from other members if they are having problems or assist others. This informal atmosphere enables great interaction and exchange of ideas. This means it is a hands on practical meeting. Assistance and advice interchange applies to hardware and software problems. The small cost of membership is a huge saving over paid assistance.
The aim is to assist members with problems and promote the effective use of computers and tablets to achieve such effective utilisation by the means of:
• Advancing computer literacy
• Keeping members abreast of developments in computing and information technology
• Enabling members to exchange information and experiences
• Providing a forum for the exchange of views amongst computer users.
