Kogarah Seniors Computer Club

Kogarah Seniors Computer Club (KSCC) was founded by Norma Thorburn (OAM), with the first lesson being held in February, 2000. The club is a non profit organisation managed and run by volunteers 4 days a week during NSW school terms.

Our goal is to encourage seniors over 50 within the community to learn to use computers and related technologies at a pace comfortable to them. We offer a number of general programs covering the use of desktop computers, laptops, smart phones and tablets as well as some specific programs (photo editing and introduction to Internet) as required. From time to time we offer short introductory sessions on specific topics or applications.

Our club features the latest equipment and technology and classes are held in a dedicated airconditioned room within the Kogarah School of Arts building.

Our usual program:

Mondays: Windows laptops (bring your own)

Tuesdays: closed

Wednesdays: Desktop computers and Microsoft Office (on our computers)

Thursdays: Apple iPhones and iPads (bring your own); Photo editing, Mac computers or Internet as required

Fridays: Android phones and tablets (bring your own)
