G’day from WA,
Welcome to the March edition of the ASCCA eNews! I hope this message finds you all well, despite some challenging weather conditions around the country lately. I urge you all to stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
In this edition, I would like to draw your attention to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) Little Black Book of Scams, which is a valuable resource to help protect yourselves from scams and fraud. It’s essential that we keep on top of these issues in order to stay informed and vigilant in this digital age, and to continue in the support of your members in staying the same.
I also have some exciting news to share with you all. I was recently appointed as the ASCCA representative for the West Australian Government’s Department of Premier and Cabinet’s WA Digital Inclusion Accord. I was invited to nominate for this role due to my work with ASCCA. This is an incredible opportunity for ASCCA to be able to contribute to the digital inclusion agenda at a state level, as well as to be in the minds of state and federal governments, lobbying on behalf of our members to ensure our voice is heard.
In closing, I hope you find this edition of the ASCCA eNews informative and enjoyable. As always, your feedback is valuable to us. Stay safe, stay connected, and stay engaged.
Sincerely,
Jenny
