At the Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA), we stand as the beacon for digital literacy and empowerment for over 4.2 million seniors across Australia. With 30 years of dedication, we are at a pivotal moment to enhance our impact in the post-COVID, fast-evolving digital world. This is where you come in.

We’re looking for an exceptional leader to spearhead our journey, infuse our organisation with innovation, and guide our passionate volunteers towards new horizons of enabling Australian seniors.

Your Role: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As our inaugural CEO, you will be the cornerstone of ASCCA’s evolution, blending empathy, expertise, and extensive networks within government and industry to bring our vision to life.

Location: Sydney or Melbourne (preferred)

Commitment: Volunteer basis, transitioning to paid role upon securing grants

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge and execute strategic direction in alignment with our Board of Directors
  • Secure multi-year funding through grant applications that can support the mission
  • Lead our transition into an operational powerhouse, driving cultural, procedural, and impact-oriented advancements
  • Champion fundraising, financial sustainability, and organisational growth
  • Be the visionary force behind our operational, financial, and administrative frameworks

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in the nonprofit, government, or industry sectors
  • A tech-savvy innovator with a heart for empowering people, especially seniors
  • Strategic thinker with experience in governance, fundraising, and stakeholder relations
  • Excellent communicator, able to inspire teams and partners towards shared goals
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree, with a minimum of five years in a senior management role

What We Offer:

  • A pathway to a significant leadership role, with a compensation package of AUD $160,000 (pro-rated, including superannuation), post-funding
  • Supportive environment with allowances for internet, mobile, and necessary tools
