The club was established in August 2003 under the auspices of the Crows Nest Centre to teach computing to Seniors (55+) and people with disabilities. We offer training for groups of 1-6 on computers using Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems plus Apple Mac and iPad. A wide range of courses including Basic Computing; the Internet and E-mail are available. Courses generally consist of four 90 minute sessions over a four week term and are conducted in a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. One on One courses are also available. Courses are regularly updated and the Management Committee endeavours to provide new courses to meet the needs of its members. Our experienced tutors volunteer their time to help members gain the computer skills and knowledge they need to confidently use and enjoy their computers. Friendly members meetings; a regular newsletter and the club's website provide information about club activities; as well as interesting aspects of current technology.
