Our club was incorporated on the 7th February 2005. Our first tutorials commenced in May 2005. Currently we have a designated room in the Multi Purpose Center at Charlestown. We have eight computers which were upgraded in the 2006 Christmas holidays to Pentium 4 with XP and three of our computers are capable of XP and Vista (dual platform). We aim to assist seniors to learn skills to enable them to use computers with knowledge and confidence and of course to make it fun. Our classes are taught with one tutor to two students (one-on-one tutoring can be arranged). We have a number of excellent friendly tutors who volunteer their time to us. We now offer the following courses: Absolute beginners; Windows Stages 1 & 2; Word processing Stages 1;2 and 3; Intros to Email; Graphics/ Clipart and Mail Merge in MS Office; Excel introduction; Introduction to Email & Internet; File Management; Family History; Happy & Healthy PC; CD-DVD Burning; Card Making; and in development: Digital Media and Photography.
