The Canterbury City Computer Club for Seniors was formed in March 2001. We are a Not for profit Club whose members share their computer knowledge, successes and problems with others.
All students have the use of our 8 computers or 4 laptops, or they may bring their own laptop or tablet.
We provide lessons on Windows 7, XP, Vista, Apple, Windows 8. 1 and have recently installed Windows 10, covering many software programs such as Word, Excel, photos, Internet and email. We are also able to help people who have visual problems, as we have a computer set up for this purpose. All our classes are conducted one on one.
Fees Joining Fee $20. Annual membership Fee is $10 and tuition Fee is $4 per hour.
The Club is also affiliated with a volunteer group who meet every Saturday afternoon at 1. 00pm, who look at the workings of the computer, the hardware, software and new technology.
Any member who has a computer problem can avail himself or herself of this free service.
